Consider this our mascot’s official endorsement from retired General Colin Powell to nominate Butler Blue II as a presidential candidate in 2012.

Truth be told, our mascot has a pretty darn good life. Just on Monday, he rubbed shoulders with Colin Powell, Butler Basketball coach Brad Stevens, IndyCar racer Ed Carpenter, and Indy mayor Greg Ballard. I highly suggest that you check out Blue II’s blog, it’s great.
Today I heard that there were some students having a little snowball fight on the mall, so I went to get a few pictures and Blue II was outside for a bathroom break, so he came and joined in on the fun, and basically became my focus for the shots. He’s just too funny. Here’s a few shots from the afternoon. I sure love our campus, it’s beautiful. (You can also view the set here.)

Nice! I thought the BU statue photos were a nice touch. I like the one where the guy and the dog are “barking” at each other (titled: He eats snowballs)…haha.
